They didn't forget! - I turned 5.

We started the day with Watson's favorite treat...PANCAKES! He is still waiting for a taste of syrup though... His carrot cake from "Three Dogs Bakery" would not fit five candles so we just kept it simple with one.
Burning candle + Dog with beard = Bad Idea

"Is this mine, for REAL!!!"

I love cake! Can it be my birthday tomorrow too?

Getting closer to Christmas...

The headmaster and his wife host a visit from Santa at their home for all the kiddies of Woodberry to come to...so we had to go.

Santa had a treat for EVERYONE. We recieved some nice little ornaments to remember Harper's 1st Christmas.
We learned that picture taking is just as hard with a dog or a child...but we got one good shot.

Meet Sophia, Woodberry Forest's newest addition (and mom Sarah).

Our friends Huston and Anthony.

All the kids, getting their wishes in.

Our first Christmas tree hunt with Harper. We found the perfect tree for Harpers first Christmas.

We even got to celebrate the holiday while Kat and Poppa came to babysit.

Welcome to the Bumbo

Harper has finally aquired the back/neck strength to manage the bumbo. She still hasn't figured out what to do in this yet but Hunt tried to help... Hunt decided that Watson could be the perfect babysitter, along with the huge tv that catches Harper's eye.

Oh my gosh, look at this face! I still can't believe she is ours. We love every part of her, those dark eyes with crazy long lashes and those sweet feet are still the best.

We have hit the mouthy phase, everything goes in. She is willing to try anything once.

Look what I found!!!!

Yesterday it happened, although we are not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing-one thing is for sure, it is pretty darn cute.

Gap makes the cutest bears...

I know that the pictures of Harper in her carseat are not the best but I could not resist this face. As you can see she has loads of personality and loves showing it.

Bottle Duty

Since babies have a keen sense of smell we have started test driving bottles with all of the family. Harper was a trooper, not one sign of protest. Hunt said that she was saying..."finally a pacifier that has milk in it, this is what I have been looking for!" Gray's turn is next...

Meet the Breedens

I have been so excited for this meeting to happen...one of my best friends and someone who knows me best finally met our little girl. It was so great to see Harper with the Breeden clan. She didn't seem to protest anyone as long as she was held the way she wants. Jodan proved to be the natural and even got a smile. Josie and Laurie got some chuckles (and a little drool - sorry Laurie). At Christmas we will have even more fun!

Giving thanks...
