Is it ever to early for career counseling at University of Richmond???

Life after graduation..." You mean mom and dad aren't going to take care of me forever?"

"I'm calling my grandparents...they will all take care of me"

Mickie makes working look so FUN!

"Awesome, I don't have to get a job, I can just go to grad school."

Harper loves visiting Mickie!

Visiting the Haskins

Lunching at Capital Ale House...

These placemats just are not made for iron tables...this is coming off in 2 seconds.

The boys chatting...

Harper finally realized where the workbench we had in our house went to...It was Drew's 1st birthday present. At least Drew shares when we visit.

Harper amazed by her dad's guitar skills.

Harper enjoyed kisses from Brady more than she does from her own dog.

Harper impersonating Jerry Lee Lewis..."goodness gracious great balls of fire"

Lots more swimming...

Swimming is obviously a big part of our summer so here are a few more pictures from some of our recent swims...

(Al-Grace passed on her bulldog face to Harper! We laugh everytime.)

Look at me !!!

We couldn't resist posting these...Harper has been taking "Little Gym" classes since she was 4 months old and now at 10 months-it is a whole new experience. Here are some videos of our class that we took while in Chapel Hill visiting.

We have a water baby!

The boys have all gone home and now the pool is OURS! By ours I mean all of the faculty and staff families. We decided to test the waters... The look of Harper wanting more pool time.

She instantly wanted to put her head in...what? She just naturally knew what to do.

Let's take it slow for mom and dad...
What are these pool balloons, I love them!?
She has one cutest faces, EVER!
Wading in the water with dad.

Water feels great, come on in! We will be doing this again and again...

From Bugs to Birds

Since summer has begun, it means one thing must end...our spring semester of our little gym class. Many of the group will be moving to the next level from Bugs to Birds so we took one last group shot.
Harper trying to figure out she can hold onto more balls...only two hands.
Harper leaving Addison in the dust.

Gotta luv this smile! Avery knows how to win someone over.

Harper and her teacher, Cecily. We love her and will miss her when we move on.

Check out those legs!

9 month check-up...

Although most of us cannot believe it, Harper had her 9 month check up on the 27th of May! This visit was great because it was truly a check up without SHOTS-yeah. She was 19 lbs and 15 oz and over 28 inches long-she is a little weed these days. While going over all of Harper's stats and habits and new talents, the doctor asked us "you do realize that she is GREAT baby, right!" she also told us that next time we may not be so lucky. We will see...
Again, try and contain this child...can't be done.
Harper and her dad. The babies have to be stripped down for their check up...Harper doesn't seem to mind as long as she has something to keep her busy.
Every check up the doctors office gives us a new book and we love all of them. This time we got a book about kitchen time-which is good timing that she is starting to discover cabinets and what might be in them.
"Let me rest and read my book".

We just had to throw these in because they were so darn cute. We have recently had some altering nightime routine changes so we have tried to add Dad to the mix to help. Look at the adoring look on her face. The thing that brings music to our ears these days is to hear her say "Hi Dad". There is not a "hi mom" yet but it will come and when it does I will be waiting.
