Our ever changing girl...

Each day brings something new and it seems we are moving at lightening speed now. Between Thursday and Saturday of last week Harper, started going up stairs, saying HEY and clapping her hands. Her personality is showing every second and there is a new expession waiting around ever corner. Her are some random shots of some of our new explorations...
Under her changing table...a great place to read ALONE.
After a packed morning of moving...someone was just plain tuckered out.

Up, up, we go!
These don't look hard at all.
Look at what I found!

Woodberry Graduation/ Drew's Birthday

We had a busy Saturday with Woodberry's graduation in the morning and Drew's 1st Birthday party in the afternoon, here are some pics from the festivities...

Drew is now walking but loves being held by his mom and Harper is obviously trying to talk...as you can see. Laura and I cannot believe how fast these two are growing up-where does the time go.

It is hard and sad when you reach the phase when the babies want to explore more than they want to be held. Try getting a good picture when this phase hits...

Wiggle, Wiggle.
Content for a second...
Someone is distracting me...
I have something to say...
ALL of the Woodberry boys line up and enter in one class at a time, led by a group of bag pipers. It will no doubt give you chills when you see and hear it.
Harper needed to take a short snooze to make sure she was rested up for the day ahead.
Sophia Sydnor looking her usual cute self!
Seniors hamming it up...they were so ready to go.
All the boys again!

Jersey and NY...here we come.

After a long wait, I decided to take the plunge and take Harper for a road trip. We had so many people to meet and places to go but we managed to hit them all. We stayed with my friends Dori and Joe who have a 1 year old little girl named Keaton. They made it so easy for us because they had all the tools/toys needed for a lil tot! I dreaded Harper sleeping in a pack in play but she proved how good of a baby she is by doing an amazing job throughout our entire visit. On Sat. evening, Dori and her husband Joe hosted a great gathering of all of our commuting buddies and their spouses and we all had so much fun. Harper started some slow cruising on Dori's kitchen chairs.
Keaton provided some incentive for movement.
Keaton and Harper having some morning playtime.
Harper already thinks Keaton is too funny!

Our oldest and closest friends in the northeast -the Roses -recently welcomed there 2nd child-Evelyn Paisley so we had to stop by to make some introductions. Here Quincy Rose showing Harper and I some of his musical stylings.

Harper is officially a "groupie"

Jon taking a break from holding his beautiful 20 day old baby girl so he could hold lil Harper. What a fantastic dad!

Harper following in her moms footsteps by loving the taste of toilet paper.

As many of us know...you will do anything to get a "3 minute" shower. Clean toilet paper can't hurt them!

We also drove into NYC to see all my old friends at the Gap. We just plopped ourselves in a conf. room and we got to visit with all our favorite people. It felt like I had never left. Here are just a few of the intoductions...Jesse Tran meet Blankee!
Ali Smythe and Harper- Ali-don't think about it she couldn't pass as yours! hahahaha
Check out those eyelashes. INSANE!
Colette Mares-Starker and Ava before our goodbye.
Lisa Hess Marks and Harper.

Pete Bentivegna givin' my girl the giggles. She had to remember his voice since he made me laugh throughout my pregnany while commuting. This is also the guy who took care of me through all my pastrami sandwich cravings-he knows how to get things.

Just hangin out in our old production conf. room.
