Parties galore...

It seems like the last few weeks of December flew by. We had so much fun with birthday parties, christmas parties and snow.
At Mason and Aubrey's birthday party there were toys that Harper just took over...the stroller being the first and the babydoll in her backpack (we will teach her soon that this is not proper placement for babies...)
Thanks to our friend Jaime, we now have this fun loving bouncing zebra in our living room. There was no denying how much fun she had with him.

Harper and I enjoying the cookies that we decorated.

It seemed like we were making them as fast as we were eating them. It was a good thing she doesn't like getting her hands too dirty, this could have been a HUGE mess.

Once again we hit the Woodberry Kids Christmas Party with our favorite friends...Sarah and Sophia.
We love having cookies and storytime with all the other Woodberry kids.
Harper waiting patiently for a glimpse of Santa.
"Are those sleigh bells we hear?"
Well, maybe sitting on Santa's lap is too much this year. Next year...

Harper wanting some of mom's lipstick.

My little lady giving me smooches before we were off to our annual Woodberry Christmas party.

Our attempt at a family picture...oh well. We hope everyone had happy holidays like we did.

Our first snow of the year...

We got our first BIG snow storm just before christmas and we were a little unprepared...thank goodness Hunt's parents showed up just before it hit and helped us make sure that Harper was ready to play.

Harper modeling her new fleece and her new snowboots.

This is what it looked like out our back window...wow!

Harper and her dad taking their first patrol in the snow.

Our friends Erin and Brian added a new addition to their family around thanksgiving-Stella. We were happy to get to see her and Harper navigate their first snow together.

Hunt attempting to make a snow angel with Harper-we underestimated the depth a bit.

The snow was a little cold on this little face...

This was so much fun!

Harpers grandparents couldn't resist getting a special sled for our little lady. It was PERFECT, she had so much fun and it was so easy to pull.

After all the fun in the snow there was more than one family member who was pooped.

Christmas time...(finally!)

As many of you know by now, we spent our Christmas in Chapel Hill with Hunt's family. Here are some of our pictures from our holiday. Christmas was still pretty subdued this year still, we now that next year will be a totally different game. The things that seemed to keep Harper most content- a bag of craisins and the phone in Hunt's parents living room.

Harper's grandmother could not wait to give her an early christmas present, so out came the balls. Since Christmas, we have mastered throwing but not yet kicking...in time it will all come.

Hunt's cousin, David was nice enough to stop by an bring a load of oysters. Harper decided to help her dad and Aunt Gray get down and dirty cooking dinner.

Watson celebrated his 6th birthday while we were away and his grandmother was sweet to make him some special doggie cupcakes to celebrate. Look at the tongue-ready to jump on it, candle and all!

Having some fun with Aunt Gray and Uncle Chris.

One of Harper's christmas presents was her Red Flyer from her grandmother and Poppa. She loved pulling it as much as she loved riding in it.

Ready to go! Let do this!

Harper contemplating what to do next...Can you believe those eyelashes?

Harper inside her "Enchanted Forest" her new hideout...and Watson's new sleeping spot too!

Harper loves her new mega blocks, her dad is the best at coming up with great things to build.

Let's see...you can see what else Christmas brought- a tea set, a bathtub xylophone, baby tad, a fridge alphabet game...we have plenty to keep us busy these days.
Till next year, when the gloves are off and it is a total free fall.
