March Madness

March flew by but here are some quick highlights of what we have been up to...
Harper has started to let us put her hair up in a ponytail - only for minutes at a time but some time none the less!
How cute is that feather duster ponytail!?
Harper may kill me later but how can I not share these pictures that are so cute and funny! Harper has started showing that she is "interested" in potty training so we have begun. It is not consistent but really great to see her making those connections in her mind. We can't decided if this will be a good call or bad call, especially with baby sister coming in the end of June. We will see!
Harper loves reading on her potty. The reading seems to help the process...should we be reading more than just "potty" books?
Happy St. Paddy's Day!
Where are my lucky charms?
At the playground with Erin.
Watson found a stuffed cardinal at the playground and instead of playing with it, he decided to bury it!

Still digging!
We thought the great part about getting a wagon is that we could pull Harper around in it...so far she wants to be the one pulling. My only wish is that the wagon was strong enough to hold me!

Hanging out with Papa, who needs a couch or a chair when you have a comfy lap!
Ladybug girl...
With the summer just around the corner and the birth of baby girl #2 coming in June, we thought swim classes would be great to get Harper ready for summer and give her some fun mom and dad time. While Hunt's parents in town they were able to capture some of the fun she has in class.

When moving back to Woodberry we were close enough (or not far enough away from...) to Richmond that we kept all of our old haunts...same dentist, same hair stylist, same dog groomer. On this day we popped into town for some teeth cleaning and a visit to U of R. It was the first time in a while that we just relaxed and enjoyed Richmond instead of packing the day full of errands.
We stopped at U of R and fed goldfish to the geese on the lake.
Harper wanted to give them more than her goldfish...she kept on saying "hug them". We tried to tell her that geese are not always the sweetest of birds.
With Hunt being the Director of College Counseling at Woodberry...we want to make sure that Harper is on the right track all along the way. We had to make a stop at Career Services to get some good ol' counseling from our friend Mickie.
Harper decided her best skillset right now is her ability to use the "dophf" or phone. She is showing Mickie her 10 key skills on the phone.
Next Mickie will teach her shorthand! It is truly a lost art.

Harper had her 18th month check up this month and it felt like our first "toddler" visit. You ask why?
We could not keep her still, she wanted the thermometer, she wanted the printer, she was in the drawers...and man did she know what those needles were for...

As always, she survived and was a trooper.

February Fun

For Valentines day Harper and I made pink play-doh for all of our lil friends at Woodberry. We have had so much fun playing with it and it was so wasy to make and even better to play with!
Thanks to Target we now have play-doh cookie cutters for all seasons!
Play-doh is so much fun!
Look at all of our creations!
A playdate for the girls...Em captivated the girls with "Lila, the ladybug".
Harper's valentines day treats...a pink stroller and outfit for her babydoll.
Our lil valentine! We had the Woodberry Girls over for a Valentines Day crafting and cookie party.
We all made cookies to decorate and to eat, naturally! What a perfect treat for two pregnant moms in the bunch!
Yummy!
Em and Sarah enjoying making our valentines.
This is what the girls did while we were crafting...so maybe they are too early for crafting fun.
Our first family picture in a while...
This is Harper's usual face - mouth open and yelling for someone! This is the one we ended giving to the yearbook, we felt it was more realistic.
