Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles...

Just before school ended we recieved a bubble bottle in our mailbox with a scrolled invitation for a bubble celebration for Elizabeth McRae. Assuming that we would not have our hands full with a new baby we planned to be there, and what do you know... we were able to attend with no problems. All our woodberry friends came out to celebrate her 3.5th (her birthday is the week of christmas so they celebrate 1/2's) birthday in fantastic bubble style. I completely forgot to dress Harper in her bathing suit but she had a great time regardless. Harper ended up closing the party down because we could not get her away from the sprinklers...she had turned into one big SUD with bubbles running down her legs!

Hunt and I agreed that there is a sandbox in our near future. The sand volleyball courts down by the pool are filled with "sugar" in her mind. I guess this is what happens when you use your toddler as your "sioux baker".

Lee Robinson signing Elizabeth's birthday banner table with Spencer and the birthday girl herself.

Harper and Huston - Huston knows how to pose for the camera!

Harper in the bubble pool, later responsible for her demise. She and Mrs. Rob were having tons of fun with all the wands.

Harper wanting to play with the big girls in the playhouse.

Sophia and Spencer hanging out.

Harper's first experience in a trampoline.

The girls bouncing their tails off...

Taking some time to cool off in the shade with mom. Most of our friends know how Harper likes to make sure everyone stays hydrated.

Can you tell that this is mom and son or what? Who wouldn't love some swinging time in the shade on a 90 degree day!?

The "REAL" celebration begins...

Everyone dives into the tastiest bubble cupcakes we have had.

Why is the almost 9 month mom pushing this girl on the trike in this heat? Thank goodness there isn't a picture from the other side!

Harper LOVED this bulldozer/digger! Look at the intent on her face.

Dad pushing this ride, maybe I did get the better deal with the trike.

Bathing beauty Huston!

The beginning of our downward spiral...actually the beginning was when she fell in the bubble pool 2x, once on her bottom and once on her side. It had to feel good though...believe me, even I wanted to jump in. We had a great time and Hunt and I loved seeing Harper really go wild even without a bathing suit. Needless to say it was straight to the bath when we got home and guess what???? We didn't even need soap.
